What is the principle objective of PPE Universe?

PPE universe has been created to help individuals and corporations gain access to PPE equipment to allow their business to continue to function, whilst simultaneously helping protect employee and customer safety. We aim to make this process as easy as possible through the use of our online platform, which has been designed with the buyer in mind, by making the search variables as easy as possible to navigate.

How can I access the site?

PPE Universe has been designed to be user friendly in a range of mediums. This allows you to search with ease from your computer, tablet or mobile phone. Simply go to the Search for PPE section and complete the various search questions to help find the right product for you. If you find a product you wish to buy, you need to register as a buyer, then simply add the product of your choice to your trolley, then make payment and go. 

How can I register as a buyer?

The registration process for buyers is very simple. All you need to do is fill out the form about your personal details which should only take a couple of minutes.

I want advice and the best deal what should I do?

All registered buyers have access to the account management team who will be able to answer your question. You will need to send an email stating your enquiry and someone will answer you as soon as possible. Additionally, for larger order sizes we are able to negotiate substantial discounts through our suppliers. This option will be highlighted when you select larger orders. 

I want to advertise my products to sell on your site. How do I do this?

For suppliers the application does take longer as there are more processes to follow. The first stage is to fill out the supplier application form. Upon completion, your enquiry will then be placed in a queue, where a member of our team will aim to come back to you as soon as possible. We will then need some additional information to determine supplier suitability. Upon approval you will be given a login access which allow you to register various products on our site. Please note that it is the suppliers duty to keep up to date prices on our site. 

How does PPE Universe make money?

PPE Universe like most online retailers charges commissions for the sale of products on our site. The fee is paid form the supplier and should be factored into their price when registering a product on the platform.

What safeguards has PPE Universe put in place to protect the buyer?

Like all online retailers, buyers need to apply caution when deciding to buy online. That said, we have enclosed a lot of information within this site, to help you do the necessary due diligence. As a Company we only allow EU registered companies to promote their products on our site. This is important as these companies have certain quality procedures that they must follow. Furthermore, we will not release funds to suppliers until such time that you have confirmed receipt of goods procured through this site. Should you be dissatisfied with your purchase we will raise a complaint with the supplier to see if we can find an acceptable solution for you.

How long does it take for a product to arrive?

All advertisers should include an expected delivery date when uploading their advertisement. If your product has not arrived within 10 working days we will raise an enquiry for you. Should your order take 5 days longer than advertised, you have the right to cancel your order. Should you wish to exercise this right of cancellation we will try to return funds to your account as soon as possible.

I wish to make an purchase order on behalf of a government institution. What do I do?

We suggest that you register your interest as a buyer. Then contact us directly and we will be able to discuss a range of options for you. PPE Universe is aware that the NHS and other governmental organisations need receipt of goods before they release funds. We have a number of suppliers who are prepared to work under these arrangements due to the security of the buyer and will offer extended credit to facilitate the purchase. 

I work for an established company, do you offer credit facilities?

Yes. Many of our suppliers are able to offer credit and discounts for larger purchases. We recommend that you register as a buyer then explain your needs and a member of our team will be able to direct you to the most appropriate supplier for your needs.
